I can honestly say this dental office changed my life — and after years of fear, pain, and disappointment with dentists, I never thought I would say those words. After undergoing chemo and radiation, my teeth began breaking over the last 5 years. I lost multiple crowns, dealt with constant dental emergencies, and lived with the fear of knowing several teeth could not be saved. I had been to multiple dentists over the years — some too expensive, some too far away, and one office so unprofessional that the staff openly yelled at each other during my visit. Because of those experiences, I developed severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Recently, one of my teeth had an exposed nerve causing terrible pain, and while trying to manage that, I discovered another cracked tooth on the opposite side. I was overwhelmed and hesitant to trust another office, but calling this office was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The moment Yanna answered the phone, everything felt different. I originally called just trying to get pricing information, but speaking with her felt like talking to a lifelong friend. Her kindness, warmth, and compassion immediately put me at ease. She got me scheduled the very next day, and when I walked into the office, she welcomed me like family and reassured me that I was in good hands. From there, every single person I encountered showed genuine care and compassion. Kiara, the dental assistant, asked all the right questions and truly listened to my concerns and pain. Nina was incredibly professional during my X-rays and continued to show kindness and concern throughout the process. Then I met Dr. Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen confirmed my biggest fear — that 3 teeth needed to be pulled and another required a crown. I was devastated, especially because I was still paying off another dental emergency from the previous year. But instead of making me feel hopeless, this office worked WITH me. Anthony, the office manager, sat down with me and helped find a way to make the treatment affordable after insurance. That level of compassion and understanding is something you rarely find anymore. What truly amazed me was how this office treated me during the procedure itself. After years of painful and traumatic dental experiences, I was terrified. But Dr. Nguyen and his assistant went above and beyond to help me feel calm and safe. They provided soothing music, a blanket, a stress ball, and constantly checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was okay. In my entire lifetime, I have never experienced this level of care from a dental office. I’ve worked in customer service for over 30 years, and one thing I know for certain is this: when an entire staff works together happily, professionally, and compassionately, it reflects incredible leadership. Every single person in this office genuinely cares about their patients, and that kindness shines brighter than anything else. Since my emergency visit, I’ve already returned two more times, and for the first time in years, I finally feel hopeful about saving my teeth and restoring my smile. And it all started because Yanna answered the phone with kindness. Thank you to Yanna, Kiara, Nina, Anthony, Dr. Nguyen, and the entire team for treating me not just like a patient, but like a person. You truly changed my life.

Great vibe in the office, staff was warm and inviting, and the dentist and hygienists were gentle and knowledgeable. Two big thumbs up, and so glad I switched to Lake Butler Dental Group!
